## What this dataset does

Accessibility statement sources help users know, before or during a visit, whether a website has left a traceable explanation of accessibility status, limits, and feedback paths.

Accesserty keeps statement URL, domain, source type, region, daily-life category, verification date, and relevant notes available. Statements are treated as public signals, not third-party audit results or whole-site compliance proof.

The product data architecture currently supports or has researched directions including Italy AGID, Luxembourg Observatoire de l’accessibilité, Netherlands DigiToegankelijk, Portugal Observatório Português da Acessibilidade Web, Belgium federal audit / statement sources, France FAF / RGAA-related public data, Norway uustatus, Denmark WAS, Poland digital accessibility monitoring data, Sweden public-sector sources, Australia and United Kingdom public-sector candidate sources, and Estonia TTJA-related sources.

### Daily-life website statement sources

Accesserty has organized or supported daily-life website statement sources for the United States, Japan, Ireland, Singapore, New Zealand, Finland, Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Malta, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Cyprus, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, and Hungary.

These sources follow a three-layer strategy: layer 1 starts with high-frequency, necessary, or high-impact daily services; layer 2 covers important but more distributed services and large organizations; layer 3 closes category gaps with still-useful but more distributed websites.

## Methodology notes

Accesserty records only public, traceable statement URLs. It does not infer that a parent-company statement applies to every service, does not convert self-published statements into certification, and does not rank regions by record count.

Statement-source pages explain source families and collection methods. Record counts and representative examples are exposed through the regional public signal summary and region JSON files.

## How to read a statement

Check:

- Standard: whether it names WCAG, EN 301 549, local rules, or another clear basis.
- Scope: whether it covers the whole site, selected services, apps, PDFs, authenticated flows, or unclear areas.
- Known limits: whether it honestly lists areas that are not yet accessible or still being improved.
- Feedback path: whether it gives a usable contact method or complaint route.
- Update date: whether the statement appears to be maintained.

## Limits

- A statement is not third-party certification or a full audit.
- A statement may be outdated, too short, missing scope, or missing a usable feedback channel.
- Different services, authenticated flows, or third-party components under the same domain may have different accessibility states.
- No collected statement does not mean the website has done no accessibility work; it only means Accesserty did not match a supported public statement.
